Welcome and come on in!
I’m Bren.
Author, mentor, speaker, Grandma, Mom, wife, and mid-life crisis survivor.
When we think mid-life crisis, there is a stereotype that comes to mind. A middle aged person driving a fancy new car they can’t afford. We all know this isn’t the situation at all!
So what is a mid-life crisis? Let’s take a closer look at the term “mid-life”. It needs to be re-defined because I’m finding people of all ages and all walks of life can relate.
I went through situations in my 20’s and my 30’s, I wouldn’t have thought I was going to through a “mid-life” crises then. It’s not a situation that occurs for only people in their 50’s. A crises is not defined by age. It can happen at any time, to any one, and at any age. The stigma surrounding the term needs to be changed.
A crises holds no boundaries. It’s a hurdle that is too far to reach has become too high to jump. It’s unfathomable.
It’s a critical point among one’s existence that is life altering and the approach to the situation, to your hurdle, needs a new strategy.
here does my journey begin.
